Give Him a Rose

This time a girl gives a flower to a boy, how loving and refreshing and not stereotypical that feels.

What was one of the romantic things someone did to you?

I remember someone from the internet said that

men will only receive their first flower when they're dead.

And I didn't want that.

On Valentine's Day 2019, someone gave me a rose. It came with a

bunch of bible verses written on index cards, cut and stapled to

the rose's leaves. She handed it over with a note saying,

"If this flower becomes wilted, what we have is over."

The rose was made out of plastic and felt paper (like fabric).

So, it's almost impossible to wither and turn into nothing.

I loved it. And it's always on my table, in my room,

where I can see it every day. Roses were my favorite flower.

Roses are beautiful and they have thorns, like all of us.

And all of us can experience the same romantic feelings regardless of our sex or gender.
